What you need to know about taking actions for your health and wealth after a car crash.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT TREATMENT AFTER A CAR ACCIDENT
There are very few things in this world that are more devastating than a car accident. People have to concerned about the damage caused to their property; and people need to be even more as concerned about the damage caused to their bodies after a collision. Dr. Bigge at PNW Chiropractic Clinic wants people to know that they can be injured even when there is minimal property damage, and they feel well enough to drive away from the scene of their accident. Injuries related to an auto accident injury can be tricky. Here's more information about what you need to do after a car accident and how we treat injuries here in our clinic.
DON'T WAIT FOR THE PAIN
The mistake that most people make after a car accident is walking away because they feel okay. There are people who choose to wait until they start experiencing pain before they seek treatment for their injuries. Here in our clinic, our chiropractor advises anyone who has been in an accident to get evaluated. This is the case for the driver and all passengers. The reason people need to be evaluated by a skilled and knowledgeable car accident injury health care provider is because any type of impact can cause the spinal column to move out of alignment. In addition, conditions like whiplash don't usually manifest themselves immediately. Symptoms associated with whiplash can take days or weeks to appear.
CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR AUTO INJURIES
Our approach to how we address injuries people get from car accidents is different from what most people would expect if they went to an emergency room or their family medical doctor. Dr. Bigge's top concern is to identify the functional and structural origin of pain and other symptoms. Generally, people will experience pain in neck, back, and shoulders after an accident. They may also have ringing in the ears, dizziness, headaches and vision problems. Dr. Bigge works diligently to find the core of people's injuries so he can address them specifically and appropriately.
There are a number of assessments performed by our chiropractor before treatment plans are developed. These assessments include a thorough review and evaluation of systems of the boy as well as a review of radiological tests. Treatment plans include but are not limited to spinal adjustments, muscle work, heat therapy, spinal decompression, spinal traction, therapeutic stretches/exercise, spine structure remodeling devices.
